Christopher's uncle, yang tak de cucu and has a lot of money to spend seems to think that everyone should have a pet. Since he knows that Julia is not allowed to have any "real" pet (for the time being at least) he bought her a robotic dinosaur yang boleh mimic and learn new tricks like a real pet. If you want to know more about this dinosaur, search for "Pleo" and you'll be amazed to learn what this dino can do and how much it costs!

Yes!!! Dah pukul 10 malam but my baby boy is still up. While I am updating my fp (I guess it is kinda good that he is still awake..dapatlah mengupdate fp) my kaki tengah menggongcang his bouncer. Hopefully he will go to sleep soon...
Anyway, nothing much going on these past weeks. Mikhail is now 6 weeks old. Cepatnya masa berlalu kan? Julia is so excited that I am doing well. Yelah, before this I was not allowed to carry anything heavier than Mikhail but now, the obgyn has given me the green light to drive the car and carry heavy things. Julia sukalah sebab now I dont have any more excuses not to carry her! Help!
Spring is here!! Yey! I have started to take the two kids outside for a walk around the neighborhood. I'll be spending more time outside once the weather gets nicer and nicer. Other than that, takde benda lah nak diceritakan.
Oh yes..my first try making chiffon pandan failed!!  Rugi jer my pandan paste. Hmmmm...do I dare trying it again?

Mikhail is sleeping in a 70 years old cradle

Yup!! Amazing kan? This cradle was built by my MIL's father for his 4 kids(my MIL, the youngest is now 60 years old and the eldest is now 70 years old). My MIL then used it for her 3 kids (my husband and his 2 sisters) and has been keeping it in great condition for her grandkids. Unfortunately, Julia (the first grandchild) was not able to use the cradle because we were in Malaysia at that time and did not move back to the US until she was 9 months old. (For your info: a cradle is smaller than a crib and thus only safe to be used by a newborn) . So when we found out that we were pregnant with Mikhail, we decided to use it for Mikhail. I cant believe my eyes when I saw the cradle in such a great condition after all these years. Hmmmmm...I wonder if my grandkids would be able to use it next? That would be amazing!!!

Mikhail is 2 weeks old

Hi people, sorry for the long silence. With a new baby , a healing c-section and a 31/2 daughter to handle, things can get pretty hectic. thus why, updating the fotopage is way down on my list to do right now. Hopefully, you guys will understand.
Anyway, Mikhail is now 2 weeks old and he is doing well. Big sister julia is adapting well to having a new member to the family. She is such a great helper when mummy needs her to get small things while feeding boy boy. (julia calls Mikhail boy-boy) . Everyday,we make sure that julia gets to hold boy boy because she loves it. We still cannot leave julia alone with him though because she can be a tad bit rough with him...biasalah kan, she is only 3!
I, on the other hand, wish for the weather to not be so cold and snowy because I hate being stuck inside the house and not being able to take the baby and julia for a short stroll around the yard. I am done with winter!!!!
I have new pictures to post but will have to wait until I have more time to upload them. Be patience ok ?
A shout to kak mimi and family - Oit amacam jepun? Do let us know how you guys are doing okie dokie?

Hello, I am back. Alhamdulillah everything went well. I am now back at home after a 3 day stay at the hospital. I am grateful to have a wonderful inlaw who has been taking care of my daughter while I was at the hospital and who is taking care of me while I am recovering. So family back home, especially mak and abah, you guys don't have to worry about me. I am well taken care of!
Julia is now a big sister. As you can see from the pictures above, Julia looooovvveeeess her little brother. She is also such a big helper too! So far everyone has been trying very hard to pay extra attention to Julia and that seems to work wonders.
And here are some facts about our baby boy:

Today is the day!! I am going to the hospital at 12 noon for a scheduled c-section. Hopefully everything is going to be a-ok. The family will soon have a new member, from 3 to 4 and julia will be the big sister. For those of you who read this fotopage, doa doakan yani and baby selamat. Will update later during the week.

Still 2007 - Home sweet home

Since my previous entry has tons of pictures, I've decided to make a new entry for the house. We moved to the house sometime in June. Gapu and Nona are currently staying with us while waiting for their new house to be built. Their new house is 5 minutes walk from us, a very strong factor for us buying this house. Yelah, opah and atok are so far away, kesian pulak kalau kitaorng duduk jauh from her other grandparent jugak. Anyway, we like our house and especially the location. Enjoy the view!
