Playdates

My friend Brigitte (she is Chris's ex schoolmate in high school) came over with her 2 kids, Xander who is the same age as Julia and Becca who is the same age as Misha. The kids played well together this time (the last time, dua dua keras kepala, masing masing nak orang ikut their lead, al maklumlah dua dua anak sulong).
After they played for a few hours we had a picnic lunch (kat yard depan rumah jer) Then we decided to take a walk to Nona's house. On the way there, I heard them talking and agreeing to be cousins and not friends. hehehe tak pelah juju, he can be your cousin since your cousins are so far away  Meanwhile, Becca and Misha both did their own thing.
Kak mimi ingat tak masa first time kak mimi tengok Mikhail masa kita Skype hari tu, and you said he is big, well now, sape lagi besar sekarang? Banding kan Mikhail ngan Becca?  Tak caya, tengok ler peha itu and banding kan. Ci no net je kan Misha

Cepatnye masa berlalu...Mikhail is 5 months old
|

Yup...macam tak percaya jer he is now 5 months old. He has changed from an infant who cannot do anything to a baby with his own identity. He smiles a lot when he sees people that he recognizes, he adores his sister, he is into grabbing anything that his hands can reach and everything goes into the mouth, of course. He definitely loves sweet potates and hate sqush.
He has the same routine everyday (this makes me happy coz now I can plan my day better), he takes two naps during the day and usually falls asleep around 8. He still hasnt sleep the whole night without waking up but that is ok, he'll get to it eventually. I can tell with this second baby, I am well prepared and I do not mind being awake once or twice during the night
I just wish that my parents and family can see him

Took Julia to see fireworks on 4th of July at the Fox Chapel Country Club. It was a special trip for Julia so Nona got to babysit Mikhail. The firework started around 930pm and ended 40 minutes later. Julia had a blast! We were too busy "ooing and aaaing" the beautiful fireworks that I forgot to snap pictures.

Yesterday's dinner

Melted cheese burger. Sedap kak mimi!! Akak dah buat ke belum? n bingka ubi for pencuci mulut. Macam tak caya kan yani berjaya buat bingka ubi ni...yelah kalau kat Msia tak pernah buat pun..kat sini, nak makan kenalah buat sendiri.

This time of year our family loves to hunt for mulberries. Mulberries ni macam jambu batu or jambu air in Malaysia, not the taste or the texture but on how people treat them. Macam jambu kat Msia, people seems to ignore mulberries too. But not us, we love mulberries. Most evenings, we would walk around the park to search for mulberries. Yummy!!

What can I do now -
1) I love to giggle when kak julia plays with me
2) I can turn myself over (sometimes)
3) I can grab things if I really concentrate and put them in my mouth
4) mummy has to feed me baby food earlier than planned because I was having some problems with my bowel movement 
5) I'm starting to have stranger anxiety especially if I dont see my mummy around
6) I sing and babble a lot
7) he knows his family
8 ) I'm now sitting in my bumbo seat
10) i am definitely attached to my mummy
11) I stop crying when I see my mummy and kak julia
